Re: Recent Old Ivy Finds

I have a pretty extensive collection of both and I'll take Tucker Ties any day!

Rooster went south in the mid-sixties. I don't think Tucker even lasted that long. They're all the right width and all the perfect cloth, pattern, etc. I've never seen a Tucker Tie that I didn't dig!

Re: Recent Old Ivy Finds

Ha, I dig the blousy sleeves. In fact, I've got two modern Gant cardigans in killer mustard and navy lambswool but I can't wear the damn things because the sleeves are tapered as though it were a button down shirt. Anyway, I think it would look damn cool under a grey herringbone too.

Sancho, that shirt is nothing to sneeze at man! Good find.

Burn it, so no one can be bothered by it.

Re: Recent Old Ivy Finds

Amazingly bought for the exact same tagged price in 2015 as 1950-something and in the same condition!

Oomph that is stunning. I'm a sucker for vintage tags.

I'm pretty sure Stanislov Urinowski was just yanking your chain, AC.
