Looks like a late 60/70s label..brown buttons suggest post 1963..lapel looks good though...clover leaf that hasn't yet got to deep and square like the later 70s ones. The plaid is great..I hope this one gets to you

if it's a topster and it's got a woolmark 'tm' symbol on it, it'll be 64 and after.
the topsman can be as late as 66 before it get's a woolmark on the main Pendleton label, 64-66 it may have a second label under the main Pendleton tag with the woolmark symbol on it along with the size.
The Disney Frontier-Land store became the company's major 'shop-window'during the 60s, there were a few exclusive plaids but in the main it just had new products a few months before general sale
(giving Pendleton the opportunity to bring out clients/retailers with families to view upcoming designs with a 'free Disneyland holiday' thrown in to sweeten the pot).

The best I can fathom from digging about is that the lapel shape should give you an idea of it's date of origin
but the label design and label contents are a more accurate measure of it's date.
This is seemingly down to retailers requesting a specific design elements from Pendleton.
Good examples that I've seen are a 60s Topster made for a mid-west menswear store that has 'non-bias' pockets (like a Topsman) and an early 70's one with a '50s seagull of death' collar.
As ever I'm still trying to get more info about Pendleton stuff so all the pictures here are a treasure trove.
If I ever have children, I'm going to plan a nice vacation and when the family arrives at our destination I'm going to break out the matching Pendleton outfits and force everyone to wear them. It's going to be glorious!
Lots of deadstock '50s shoes, jackets and overcoats too in the haul. Apparently the jackoffs burnt two huge dumpsters of old stock that they didn't know what to do with and thought no one would want before the guy's brother jumped in and salvaged the rest!
Jesus Oli, this sounds amazing please keep an eye out for big boys stuff.
Yeah, what Ivy dreams are made of!
I think I saw that Hugger on Etsy, Oliver. The shirt looks much much better in that close up.

Any guesses on this old Brooks Brothers sack? Originally with a buy it now of $3000 it finally went for $24.. which you might say is still steep given the condition

They could all be young men's permaprest rigid spread collars and cheap aloha shirts for all I know but here's hoping for all our sakes! I'll keep you all posted as I find out more.
Oliver, you stay on this lead buddy! Let me know if you need an inspector / buyer to drive to KY!
