^Great find, Rob. I wouldn't mind learning some details...
The details are: I'm a greying middle aged man buying herringbone tweed.
Brooks 346, according to the description it's shortish and from the 1960s or '70s.
*Edit*
Hey Jezza!

I think we're going to love you... Just a hunch.
Welcome!

/\ nice jacket, but for my taste the lapels are too wide.

Me neither, although they shouldn't have been much wider. They're nicely rounded, and the heavier the fabric, the more width seems appropriate to me.
It's the shoulderline which really stands out for me. Top!
^Think I'm with the Prof on this one.

Balance, balance, always balance. Based upon instinct. Lapels, hair, tie width, softness, rise, break, shoulder line, condition of shoes. Everything.
It's having that vision, that guiding light, that pulls it all together.
Maybe it's not quite sane, but it's where the Hip shoots from.

^ I quite like that high sitting longwing panel Moose. Any idea of a make or vintage?
I finally secured an 38S London Fog mac yesterday.
