Re: Press-style pocket shirts from LE

I would find them tempting if they were sized exactly. I have just purchased four BDs from Land's End--all of them from their non-No Iron lines--and have been very satisfied so far. Two were $19.50 and two were $29.50. If they hold up well, I shall be totally satisfied. I prefer to buy exactly sized BDs so I can wear them either with a jacket and tie or as sports shirts.

Not bad for the details.  Flap, 3 button collar.  I'm having a couple of 3 button Brooks shirts made up when I get the chance and will let you guys know how it works.

Good fit in 'small' too - one the few shirts with a generous fit in the neck despite a properly fitting body. Still available in the sales sections of the sites...

^ Good to hear that.
I got carried away and ordered some items from J. Press... loving the shaggy dog but the flap ocbd (obsessive compulsive button down) is a flipping tent. Anyone want a 15 / 32?

Dont seem to have them anymore. Bean signature just came out with a few. Anyone else make them, besides Press and Bean?

^
The European LE sites have one at the moment in the sale section, quite a handsome dark blue check.

It's one of those articles that always seems to end up in their sales in odd sizes.

Am I right that LL Bean are now doing them again?  I'm sure I saw a pic somewhere...

60 USD for an imported shirt? This whole urban ultra slim pseudo-Americana revival is getting way outta hand.

^ Very sane, as always.

It's just fun to watch the scramble for cash before the fashion changes again!

They are actually made by Sanders not Bass but are really great..........very happy with them.  I have yet to see the McNairy / Bass collab in the flesh......

Didn't Oi Polloi sell them?
