I'd prefer to rip off the sleeves myself...

Jesmond is in touch with the company and new stock of the short sleeved Sweat will be in in a couple of months for the Summer. He's getting some too.

They're proper old school items he informs, 100% cotton, made in the USA, at a great price - $28.50 & minimal P&P.

Another great find by him.

Kellsport sweats are the real deal. I used to go by their factory all the time. I own the standard gray color. Seem big at first but will shrink down to a more realistic size. Thinking about a navy blue "muff pocketed" one.

Also, Press and Andover have their shirts made right near there. Lot of "Polartech" stuff used to be made in Fall River as well but that might only concern the more "preppy" leaning individuals.

Had a few plains myself, a couple of vintage mock necks too, all of which I sold on the 'bay' a couple of years back.

Looks like a loopwheeled sweatshirt made in Germany: http://www.merz-schwanen.com/en/sweater/343/

Maybe we can get them to loose the silly print

A bump for the original sweatshirt thread written by Matt.

... Originally turned down by Mr. Chensvold, but showcased by us here. I think we chose wisely !

Getting a red one from American Giant.  I got a hoodie in burnt orange and I like the construction quality.

Re: The Right Sweatshirt. By Matt.

Another great thing about this thread is that it starts with the kind of blog length 'mini-essay' I was talking about the other day which then extended into a debate and an exchange of information and knowledge. The forum format at its best !

So the LL Bean is the obvious choice?
