WM, thanks for sharing that good ole-fashioned swing!

I have a pretty "preppy" background, but my first taste of true Ivy was several years ago when I was trying to emulate the look of my jazz idols, and it stuck. My peers and professors call me "Joey Bowties."

Vinson's stuff with Etta is great, and he also paired up with Cannonball Adderley for a few records in the early '60s.  He sat in with plenty of jazz greats over the years.

Woodstock, 45 years ago this weekend. I've posted before about how much I love this especially the drum solo. What's your opinion WM?

This is playing on the hi-fi while I'm drinking bourbon and the smell of fried okra is wafting through the house.  Mrs. WM is dancing around in her sun dress at the stove.

Haha. She just said "Grandma would be really proud."
