Just picked up a lovely old Brooksgate black shetland from customs (thanks hattrick!) and thought I'd drop into TK Maxx - an otherwise awkward trip - on the way home.
And guess what I found:
saddle-shouldered shetlands in black (!)
Not with the cachet of the Brooks 'made in the Shetland Isles' version, but all the right details, heavy quality.
'Marcus Law', Malagasian made, EUR 16.99 a pop.
I raked around a bit and found one in a wine colour for myself.
