Ivy surprises No. 1: Dennis Hopper
Watched 'Giant' yesterday. Great 3 hour long epic, featuring lots of Texans in suits but wearing cowboy boots. Young Dennis Hopper, however, has been to Harvard, and what a difference that move to the east made in his dress sense!
(Also, seeing a clip from 'Rebel Without A Cause' convinces me that James Dean was not wearing a McGregor Anti-Freeze. Some form of shiny nylon zip-up jacket but not an Anti-Freeze. What a cry-baby!).
(By 'great' I don't mean 'excellent' I mean long, long, long)...
