A very soft, very dark brown sack with an exquisite shoulder line... some slim-fitting, flat-fronted cords, golden brown to russet... a shorty mac, but cord rather than the usual... a pair of old Sebago loafers, preferably black... A Williams College tie...
A pure cotton, pure white Nortex stand-up collar windcheater to replace the one I have. Possibly my favourite item of clothing that i've ever owned - now absolutely beyond repair. Never seen another nor feel that I ever will.

Not a lot, thankfully. Still start the occasional foray for a buffer coat. A couple more white OCBDs.
Looser, higher Levi's, probably the 1944 model.
Some dark grey whipcord pants (good call Jesmond).
Navy cashmere V neck.
"Oatmeal" beige shetland crew neck.
A size 38s tan London Fog mac.
But most of all: getting rid of the stuff that's not being worn.
"And then I'm done." (Yeah. Sure.)
Check out the play 'Flying Blind' by Bill Morrison. Parker and Bud Powell references abound.
a vintage workboot in brown would be nice .... apart from that i have everything i ever need
Alan Paine lambswool camel V- neck (semi-classic fit- a more highish V`)
Alan Paine lambswool crewnecks (classic fit) in Tartan green and Dubonnet red.
Filson Whipcord Pants.
White of Hawick Lord Cardigan in charcoal
Black Sheep Dark Grey shawl collar cardigan
Wigwam off-white crew socks
Natural White Andersons Kellister crewneck shetland sweater
With you on the shawl collars there, J. Try tracking down vintage Paine if you can. I have a navy blue Brooks with a high 'v'. Saddle shoulders.
^ This might be the best bet for them, 1966...

A Shetland sweater that doesn't come down to my goodies.

Who know's where to woolen ties in plain colours? Noot Rooster style knitted ones, but a flannel/melton like material, matte, with a very light fuzz.
Only ever found one, and I love them.
^ Cheers for that, One Trick Pony...

It's that 'Sale' time of year too. August at Cordings I think?
I just picked up the tan/white seersucker at J. Press. The Canadians have an even better shoulder this year...back into the old U.S.A. territory from 6-7 years ago and frankly, maybe even better than that on the one I tried out.
Also FINALLY found some navy/red striped white socks that I've been looking for for several years now. American Apparel's offerings were not quite right. Yes, they're tubes with no defined heel but I wasn't looking to dress up in white socks. And they are made here, which is cool:

Hoping this fall to replace the brown Harris tweed I outgrew in college. Looks great with a pink or blue BD.
