'Correspondent' longwings from Tricker

You do not often see correspondents in a longwing.

Interesting to note where the toe tap is placed. I put them right on the edge of the toe. Cobblers I have used do the same. Does anyone still use the Blakey brand ?

A lot of interest in Trickers cordovan cap toe boots recently. I think the Germans like them, judging from the background of the recent bidders. Perhaps that is why they are called 'Herman' ?

Size 9 went for £210 plus post. I would not have any use for such a boot myself.

Which ones, shooman ?

The boots have lots of discolouration marks on the leather. Even if I liked the style that would annoy me.

White nubuck longwings from Tricker :-

Impractical colour and I do not like the French/Dutch? flag tag at the back.
