Re: Ebay / Etsy alert

Can we not make this a race issue?

Re: Ebay / Etsy alert

I don't think anyone who is black, Asian or any other non-white ethnicity would look good in peach either. It's a nasty colour.

I wonder if protestants look better than Catholics in Peach?

Re: Ebay / Etsy alert

Im not sure what shade of ecru you might be wearing Yuca..but typically no one is going to be that colourless unless they're dead. Most people are going to have a pinkish/orange hue to their skin even if its tanned. But the darker the skin at least there becomes a contrast to the peach. The closer to the shirts shade is to the akin the less contrast and it muddies things. Either way just wear what your happy with I struggle with pastel pinks, oranges and yellows. Maybe jaundice ia to blame for the last one

Re: Ebay / Etsy alert

Peach is OK. There are far worse colours.

Cream v yellow is another minefield. Cream is a very useful colour. Yellow not so much. I have a bright yellow polo shirt that does not really work. I need to wait until I am weatherbeaten( I don't tan) to wear it.

Re: Ebay / Etsy alert

I prefer nectarines for fruit. They are less risky than peaches.

From a not getting a duff one, not having them go rotten too quickly point of view.

Re: Ebay / Etsy alert

This has all been very informative. I'm accepting the challenge and buying Woolster's shirt!

Prepare to have your minds changed! I think it'll look great with chinos and a grey Shetland, or with a white tee and navy Keydge, or with dark jeans and brown suede shoes.

Knowing my luck, now I've written this it'll arrive and make me look ghastly. But at least the sleeves will be the right length!
