Good question.  There would be the felt backing to deal with, and it would depend on how that patch is attached.  Maybe an expensive experiment there with that particular jacket.

Good point!

I have an old '60s Fink University novelty patch so I'd give it a shot if I came across a jacket I really dug at a reasonable price and if it didn't work out, I'd just sew that on top.
