The shoulders do seem a bit big. But the labels are marked S. I'd agree, probably of more recent manufacture.

Unless it's a casual tweed, herringbone, corduroy, pinstripe, or seersucker... how do you break up a suit and wear the jacket separate. It's damn beautiful but it's completely useless.

Nice, but having to hold fire after bagging that vintage Chipp we were discussing the other day. The measurements seem almost perfect
so hopefully not too many alterations in Japan. I'm looking for a JFK-style shirt to go with it. I guess that would be a forward point collar??

Yep, the JFK look would be a straight point collar. You should really give the Mercer 2 7/8" tennis collar a go in a nice white broadcloth.
