I'm also tempted by that Anderson Little, but I wouldn't get much use out of that color I'm afraid.
The cord jacket wasn't meant to be for me, unfortunately... The bidding ended at 3am my time so someone on the west coast must've sniped it while I was sleeping.
^
Argh! Been there countless times. Another will come along.
Thanks for the link to the Anderson Little Oliver... I took the plunge as it looks to be more like a 38 and its a colour I was just looking (unsuccessfully) for a Shetland in.
It does indeed... Hope it works out for you, man.

If anyone's interested, I've added some nice, mostly inexpensive and under the radar artcles to my Etsy favorites lately - you can spend a full month sifting through it... who knew Gant were doing Madras jackets for men's shops in the boom years??

A 270-page history of my rampant consumeurism, haha.
Here's what happens when Hathaway meets Viyella - great 50's weekend flannel button down:

I kind of use Etsy for inspiration; the stuff that fits I usually just buy (within reason) and then anything else I like I just add to the list. I also find it helpful to dig through old expired listings to pull up the names of vintage men's shop and manufacturers to plug new searches on eBay. I've scored some nice obscurities with that method. I had to draw the line with home furnishings and art because half the stuff that's sold I sadly bought myself, haha.
Here's a killer '60s tan summer WnW suit from Orvis:

I like it. It's not darted, which is a plus, if you care about that. Pop one or two buttons off the cuff and you're good to go.
I've just raped you pages for my pinterest - cheers Oil hahaha.
Funny how many of the same things we watch/watched.
I've got a lump in my throat looking back at all the 38R madras and golden era Brooks Brothers that Zach listed which passed me by... I went through two whole years of ivy celibacy during my Stateside transition. Come back Zach!!

I know! And I wonder who was buying all those?
