I bought some of their shirts. The guy (or his wife) is an ass to deal with but deadstock Makers, so I don't care.

No strange smells to report. Though one Press shirt I got had an 8 button placket, which was quite shocking..

Hickey Freeman sack sport coat, size 38. If you ask me, it very much looks like a neopolitan jacket with the wide-r, shaped lapels. It's pretty nice, but the auction ends very soon.

Not sure about the shoulders and it's darted as well... the label actually reads 39, for what that's worth.

It's not perfectly in line with 60s fashion, rather it's more of a classic style (though it may have been made in the 70s). Normal button stance and normal (though certainly not slim) lapels. exaggerated rear vent, four button cuffs, flared lapels, looks pretty shaped from the back and I'd be wary of the shoulder construction too... it's a three button tweed but it's definitely not a drapey sack cut. I wouldn't wear it personally.

The label says 'contains polyester' suggesting a blend not pure. The seller doesn't even provide measurements so they are obviously an idiot.

100% polyester jacket would be gross - that's like wearing old couch upholstery!

Aside from discomfort and weight, you'd melt away in summer. It's definitely a poly-cotton blend and it looks pretty kosher to me.
