Somebody won a really nice cornflower blue oxford cloth Hugger on eBay this aft. If I didn't have a large order of summer shirts and popovers coming from Mercer in the next few weeks, it would've been mine. Out of curiosity, did it go to anyone on the forum?
To buy or not to buy; that is the question...

They have an identical logo stamped on the inner sole as my 1950's Florsheims only with "Worthmore" in place of Florsheim. What's the connection between these co's?
Edit: according to AskAndy (thanks Google) Worthmore was the beginner line at more affordable pricing to introduce young men to Florsheims. Not sure how accurate that information is, but they're killer looking shoes!

Glad it went to a good man, Chet!
I finally scored a vintage Invertere buffer last year but a contrast collar cord is the stuff that dreams are made of. It was too good to pass up and the price wasn't bad either. Wear it well man!
el gusto es mio, man.
here's a recent "vintage" Pendleton 3/2 cord sack, but it looks great:

Some Frogmouth Leesures from a UK based seller W36 L33
The rise doesn't look that impressive from the picture.
but they are low risk as they are only "buy it now "£8.99 with free shipping.

The one I dug up was a NOS import from O'Connell's in tan cotton canvas with olive wool contrast collar and lining and the only thing that could've made it any better would've been corduroy!
