I love this Peerless blackwatch robe; another that's too large for me -

I'm posting this one in hopes that someone else pulls the trigger on it so that I won't be tempted any longer...

Re: Ebay / Etsy alert

Yeah sort of, but I think it could look cool buttoned to the top under a blazer or sweater. I've been starting to appreciate sport shirts with shorter collar points a bit more. I posted some pics of Tony Perkins in a few on the forum before. I think there's room for both... though admittedly I probably would've bought it by now if it had a proper roll.

Looks good to me Oliver. However having spent lots recently I'm glad it isn't my size.

Re: Ebay / Etsy alert

Yeah, I knew they were definitely more recent from the detailing (pockets, buttons, label) but I understand that the traditional Norm Hilton sack cut has remained virtually unchanged throughout the years. I've never tried any of the contempo jackets but I've been told that his son, who's running the show now, is still producing the identical 3/2 sack cut - just with updated features. Do you have any experience with modern Norm Hilton?

Re: Ebay / Etsy alert

Not an ebay-er- but if anyone's passing Beyond Retro in Soho, London on their lunch hour there's a few decent waterproof jackets around, including a nice 'Sir Jac' in natural Large/Tall which would fit someone who wears 40 reg jackets. I picked up a navy London Fog (EDIT: in perfect condition, bar the lining (sadly), unlike most junk in there).

Good find there AC.  Too bad it's over there in your neck of the woods.  Now I know how you guys must feel all the time.
