in regard to "secret wash/sanded poplin" j crew has a variety at their stores for dirt cheap at the moment. dont know about online.

Well, one of us ought to go there...
Silly but true - The pee really helps the wonky drains in Paris which normally pong all funny & cheesy & yucky.
I suspect that Calvados pee works best.
