DMR: "This Is What She's Like" - The Long Version!

The 'Anglo' take on Ivy in NYC in '85. Mainly Brooks Bros. with elements from The Ivy Shop, Richmond & J Simons, Covent Garden.

And while we're at it this one is back up too:

(Those  who know will know that this one goes up & down all the time.)

Re: DMR: "This Is What She's Like" - The Long Version!

Silly comment:

I watched this with a mate who took the piss out of Kevin's dancing.

But.

Those moves are spot on for the Irish in North London. The Prince of Bohemia, Arlington House, Camden in general.

I'm yet to appear on the Arlington House website but my mini-essay on 'The Payday Suit' remains with them.

I once had a gig with Worldwide Television News up in Camden near the market & I drank with the boys from The Big House after hours by default.

Real people.

The Good Mixer before the Britpop crew took it over, was a great boozer. In fact, all the pubs of Camden before they become trendy place to be. North London was my playground for many years, and being a second generation Paddy helped too.

Shame that I can't watch this in my country...

The internet censorship based on copyright issues is getting worse...... and this in a country with such a bad censorship history!!!

The cut & rise of the Chinos that Billy Adams wears in the scenes in the apartment are worthy of note. Also some very nice Madras in those shots too - Fantastic collar rolls.

IMO.

Nice trousers, indeed. They`re high rise, but not too high, just right, and they`re quite narrow at the thighs, nice and slim, but not tight. Rather a straight cut as well, parallel I'd say, not tapered at the bottoms.

The Madras shirts are perfect! KR and BA both have the same check, they must have thought so, too!
