Isn't it about time this forum or rather it's illustrious leader lost this obsession with this scruffy little shop. We are all bored shitless of hearing about every little dusty nook and cranny of it. Our American and European chums dont give a fuck about and neither do most of the british. Seriously, I only do this because nobody else does.

JS will go & my collected musings will also go over time. But once there was a time when we all had a laugh & wore some great clothes.

First conversation I ever had with JS that wasn't directly related to clothing was concerning Dudley Moore. Around that time I was trying to put together a piece about the British composer Richard Rodney Bennett - his film soundtrack work to be precise. By coincidence a piece came on the shop radio by R.R.B with Dudley Moore at the piano - a rare live recording if my memory serves me correct. A brief conversation ensued with me talking about RRB's work on the soundtrack to the film "Billion Dollar Brain" with John talking of Dudley Moore's jazz piano skills that he had witnessed live. All the while, my brother trying to drag me out of the shop so that we could finish our Christmas shopping!
