I think it's important not to look too fussy or fastidious, the cut should not be voluminous, the tie not too wide or thick. And no white mice or frogs in your pockets either.

You can tweak the look with the shoes: I like desert boots with navy blazer/grey trousers.

This would seem to illustrate one of the significant advantages of Ivy. Ditch the crest, the sweater, and maybe go for a blue, or university stripe OCBD, and this kit looks as appropriate throughout life, to many of us, as it does on a "school boy". If you agree with this, it lets us remain constant without appearing to appear as something that we are not, IE young.
