the thing with vico is that unlike aspirin or whatnot, it doesnt make the pain go away. its still there, you just dont care. at all.

Ah. as a youth i found that bushmills and hashish were the best accelerant for those (a friend from belfast used to smuggle them in, theyre the effervescent codeine ones, correct?) 10 years on all i can handle is beer.

Sadly the truth is less dramatic...
He had computer problems and then after having been out of the loop for a while he realised that he wasn't missing anything!
I shall miss the way his wife used to answer the phone at 10.30 PM and never once told me to F*ck off.

... I think also that he'd got into editing everything down style wise and so the rambles that some of us go in for over here (me!) were more than he was interested in.
