Contrary to lies of FNB and Woofboxer, I (and most of the other "Buff Bastards") have been banned from posting on this forum. There are only a few posters left so don't waste your time on here. This forum is dead and nobody cares.

Ticket pockets do seem pretty fussy on a suit, but is it not a pocket watch pocket?

It is a particularly bad pastiche of a pinstripe suit look. Like every banker you have never met. Laughable, if not pitiful.

He may not have finished dressing yet Bish.

Give him the benefit of the doubt.

Re: When bespoke wishes and fabric dreams go wrong

suit isnt my sip of tea .. doesnt seem to have much shape,  is it one of these unstructured jobbies? doesnt help that he's stretching the jacket out with the hands in the pockets ..

the shoes are luca inspired by the looks of it .. belgium loafers (which i wear on holiday / casually) are comfortable but with dont work with the rest of the outfit (only really acceptable i guess if you have some issue with your knee or back which seems to happen at a certain age & you cant wear proper leather GW shoes!). this is a young chap so cant give him the benifit of the doubt on that one!

no socks but wearing a tie & pochette seems ridiculous to me .. its being prissy in one area and uncaring (aka sprezz) in another ... makes no sense .. what is supposed to have happened,  did out young friend wake up in the monring and dress the top half to the nines & then thnk you kow what i cant be bothered to put on socks & i cant be bothered to wear shoes so ill put on what are basically a pair of slippers! smile

Re: When bespoke wishes and fabric dreams go wrong

he seems to be staring at the sockless belgium slippers in the photo  ... perhaps he is is ashamed at what he has done and now will leave his consumerist lifestyle behind .. make his way to an ashram in the himalayas where he will spend the rest of his days in quiet contemplation of his sartorial sins?
