Just thought I would post a positive message in praise of FNB Talk Ivy after the recent full moon period of restless beastliness and say thanks to everyone who picked up my recent for sale items all over the globe and hope they all have new happy homes, and that despite international business conspiring to stop us all from buying online outside of country of origin we are managing to beat that thanks to some great members behind the scenes aiding and abetting the international traffic in Ivy Style.
Dockers won't ship to UK (forget EU prices we want US dollar prices!), Clarks UK wouldn't ship to a fellow forum member in Germany where he couldn't get his size, not to mention the charity store thrifting of some of the US guys.
No names no pack drill but you all know who you are, so thanks again!

It was always a shame that you couldn't get Dockers non-crease khakis outside of the US. I tried several times on ebay and Amazon with no success. At least BB still ships, and also sends catalogues out overseas, so do Mosaic records, after they figure out the expiry date system on European credit cards.
And anything new you have all the import duty on, not to mention waiting for the goods to come out of customes.
You would have thought with all this alleged free trade you could get what you wanted anywhere.
Can't say enough how much I appreciate what's going on behind the scenes here! Lots of really helpful folks, that's for sure.
I'm quite pleased with what I got via this route and have already sort of 'ordered' some more stuff BTS as it happens.
Just make sure to post pictures of it at some point, that's all I'm asking
Oh and I'm still waiting for the day Chris_H will realize that he actually wants to sell the Hart Schaffner Marx Racquet Club tweed jacket to yours truly... come on Chris, we all know you don't like it...:-)
I'm wearing a Chris jacket today, as it 'appens - That 346 Tweedy number.
Top jacket, Top man.
i'll wear 'a chris jacket' tomorrow, either a gray herringbone tweed rl one or brown 'hastings of san fransisco' one. today was a cardie day.
indeed, top jacket(s), top man. lots of respect from over here.
