There is an article in R.Street's favourite Ivy Style about ski hats - Moriarty ski hats from Stowe in particular.

Never heard of them myself. Then again the skier in the photo is wearing blue jeans which you virtually never see on ski slopes.

I know Canadians wear woolly hats and call them toques, or tukes, or such like.

It is bloody cold skiing in Canada though. At the badly-named Sunshine Village I had four pieces of clothing on my head - a ski mask, a neck warmer, a woollen hat and the jacket hood. It still got cold and I had to retreat to the mountain restaurant to warm up.

To me a woolly hat is a woolly hat though. I never thought there were Ivy versions. Is this true ?
