Re: The Curmudgeonly Thread.

I second the "Inept Pedestrians." Didn't Edwina Monsoon rant about that in traffic court? I believe she proposed simply taxing the stupid people.

And a loud second to "Avid Sports Fans." The passion of the badly educated. It's not that sport isn't fun to do or watch but when it becomes a passion, an obsession and a color-matching scheme for car, house and doggie's sweater, it's time to rethink evolution.

Re: The Curmudgeonly Thread.

Supposedly reverent movie channels like the Independent Film Channel and Turner Classic Movies that stick their self-promotional logos in the corner of the screen...or sometimes on top of the film image itself.

I can't fathom how this is tolerated...it's like pasting a bumper sticker on a painting. Anyway, I'm already WATCHING the channel...why are they still selling it to me?

Oddly I was just thinking about Martinis on another thread...

Is Ian Flemming to blame with all his 'Vodka Martini' talk?
