I'm a local soda adventurer. Always seek them out on road trips. Foxon Park is one of the better ones I've had. Vermont's Sweetwater Maple soda is another great one out of New England...brought back a case recently. Our big local, Dr. Brown's is lackluster. Stewart's, while not necessarily local or a small operation, is readily available and much better.

Id like to say excatly what rum it was I consumed last night but I can't remember...but what I wanted to share is my experience of the swagger that only rum can give...like a strange and certain confidence that you are completely sure footed but in a four dimensional enviroment.

Boomsma Genever (1 yr in barrels).
Tried Genevers in Amsterdam. Hepcat, I missed ya!
Now bought this to try out. After a week drinking Hendricks with my 84 y.o. mom (who still drinks me under the table- don't know whether to be proud of her or ashamed of myself) bought this Genever to show my son where Gin came from.
Veredict- It's Genevers, all the way down...
