I've seen a nice one last week... Can't remember exactly where, though. Looks just like Chinos, very military... Anyone else a fan?
How was it styled?
The Tan OCBD was once a very Ivy item, now largely overlooked or forgotten.
short sleeve button down style, but I don't think Oxford, but I can't tell for sure, I think it was some current magazine ad... yes, tan/ khaki colour, not cream/ ecru, not yellow....
LE have a nice SS 'Ranger' shirt this year, fits like a tent tho'
I used to have a tan poplin bd kinda joint that I liked, I think from 90s J. Crew.
edit- it was not very military-styled, other than the khaki color. It was a regular bd styled shirt.

- Only joshing, Brother.
But, Blimey! You're online early - You must have been up with the cock, as we used to say down on the farm...
Khakhi shirt looks very attractive and pretty.
It is really nice!
I'm fan of the khaki shirt. I have a short sleeved number from Brooks. C. 90-91. I've always wanted to wear it with khakis, but it doesn't really work unless you're going for the what ho Singapore tourist look, I think.
edit: now stone's another story, and that with grey trou is a possibility I think.

For some reason I received an Orvis catalogue in the post. I never asked for one. They have quite a few shops in the UK I was unaware of.
Anyway, they have some quite nice safari shirts in said catalogue for the full Alan Whicker.
I must be getting old. At one time I would not touch such an item with a barge pole. I liked Roger Moore as Bond but never sought to emulate his style.
I have several in various states of disrepair and fish-borne grunge. I never wear them for anything but fishing or hiking. Once they get sprayed with insect repellant they never go back.
