Accentuate the Positive

Some great and memorable buys:

My Dexter dirty bucks.  A last minute purchase at John's.  They were loading me up with stuff when Jeff proffered them and said "You won't be wanting these".  One was a slightly lighter shade than the other.  Now, of course, after much wearing, they look the same!  Didn't cost much.

A Paul Stuart raincoat.  £1.99 off Ebay.UK.  A thousand dollar coat.  Sold it on to a guy in Germany after about a year.

A £2.99 McGregor Drizzler.  Guy who sold it me had worn it around his airbase back in the 1950s.

A £1 Burberrys' trenchcoat.  Possibly my most amazing charity shop purchase.

Probably a short fly-fronted raglan-sleeve rain jacket, an early 80s charity shop buy for 5p. It would have been 15 years old back then I reckon. Perfect fit and still in service.

Old Levis chinos.  I believe RS wore a pair when working at the Ivy Shop.  I paid a fiver for mine at the local Oxfam.  It's shit now, all Prada and scented candles, dark chocolate and sponsorship forms.  But then...
