maybe the key here is in the gear you have listed. All the right kit in the right colours,the old 'ivy uniform' as discussed on other threads..
stick to the classic and you cant go wrong. It will work with all in the wardrobe, but I myself have trouble doing so.

A lot of this slim fit/modern fit malarkey is just an excuse to save on the cloth.

^I have a uni stripe bb tent with a tab. I just cant wear it as much as I love the shirt. it looks like ive been ill and gives me a mufin top.

Ive just had the missfortune of a visit to brooks. I couldnt get a regular slim fit ocbd, only stocking non iron.!! why? they didnt know!

The BB non-iron supima cotton is an ideal work shirt. Robust and despite postings about it wearing like card board, it is in fact at the forefront of 100% cotton non-iron technology.
Its biggest failing, is that it is manufactured not in America.
That may yet change.

I have a candy stripe non iron and I dont like it. It feels synthetic sitting on the neck, it makes me itch and the service at bb makes me sick.
