Elegant Ivy: The navy cashmere jumper

I've got a lovely English made one from Brooks, with a high v and saddle shoulders.  People want to stroke it.  I allow strange women that privilege, if my wife is absent or looking the other way.  Nothing feels better: worn with a pale blue BB shirt, dark jeans and penny loafers.

Definitely on my to-buy list... so if anybody wants to get rid of a sz 42 or 40 one, let me know... recommendations also appreciated.

I do prefer cashmere sweaters to shetlands.  There is nothing better than a good quality cashmere.  I also live in warm climate and find the cashmere sweaters wear a bit cooler than the shetlands.

I like cashmere crew-necks particularly worn under a tweed sack. I find them more comfortable and less bulky than shetland.

Merino is an inexpensive way to lose bulk. Less of a blow if the moths get to it.
