When I look at what I consider to be a Mod suit, I don't see any Ivy League influences or Italian influences to be honest.

What I do see a a minimalist, structured and very clean cut with sometimes a little bit of equestrian detailing thrown in for good measure.

Pure English tailoring.

But that's it - it's not pure, I think. English is the overriding style yes, but subtley enhance by other details...... Structured - but the minimalism comes from the more boxy continental style, I think.
