I really should have listed this as one of my favourite movies.  If you haven't seen it, get a copy on DVD.  Relevant as it ever was about war, the nature of democratic capitalist society and how the little guy never really gets a hearing.  A stunning performance from Harold Russell as the sailor who has had both hands amputated couldn't help but remind me of the servicemen who have come back from Iraq and Afghanistan after fighting Bush and Blair's pointless wars.
