Horace McCoy

Another great American author.  'They Shoot Horses, Don't They?', 'I Should Have Stayed Home'.  Highly recommended as a change of pace from Chandler and his imitators.

Re: Horace McCoy

I have read 'They Shoot . . .' and it's a classic, not stumbled across any of his others unfortunately but I'm sure I will sooner or later, roll on that day.

Re: Horace McCoy

He also combines the names of Horace Silver and McCoy Tyner. And that can't be bad.
