Anyone familiar with the Giorgio Brutini GBX playboys? Priced right even if they'd only be for around the house.

Not wanting to take over your thread (and I'm sure people have views on the quality of those) but for anyone who didn't see my previous post on the for sale thread, Blackman's on Cheshire Street off Brick Lane should have a whole load of the Sanders version in stock for £25. WELL worth it if your near by London.

I've had two pair of GBX Playboys and they do look okay for a couple of weeks, until they literally fall to pieces. The problem is they are cheap and cheerful but by the time you pay the ridiculous postage costs, they are no longer a bargain.
I agree with Colin, if you can get to London, or some dear soul can get you a pair (Colin and I are still waiting), then the Blackman's Sanders are a much better bet.

Beatnik, lets hope a helpful Londoner will cave in soon and drop by Blackman's. I already assumed that it wouldn't be possible to order straight from them.

Well in case anyone could get some, I'm an 11 in either brown suede or the lighter snuff colour if he had some.
I bought some 12s as he didn't have any 11s, thought it was worth giving it a try as I was sockless at the time, but they're just too big sadly.

I'm skint as never before, but I'd still take a UK size 10 in snuff, if they got them... if they're not the tapered toe version, half a size or so smaller might work, too!

Yeah they are the real deal, and a real deal! I would dearly love some 11s in brown or snuff high or low (whatever they have really - the guy said he wasn't too sure what they'd get in) - I'd happily pay extra for the help!
