Excellent - a lot of work went into that - cheers. That guy from the 60's photos, the one carving the turkey, that's my look for Christmas Day, deffo.
And that's a nice photo of Herb Caen in #12. The location appears to be the corner of Market and Powell, where the cable cars turn around.

Great evolution going on there, until you hit the '70's. Fantastic. By 1942, the template was almost fully refined.
