Anybody have some snaps of the perfect linen suit I could copy? Like a SB and also a DB.

Mmmmm,
What do you mean by the perfect Linen suit? Styling, usually follows that of a bog standard suit in wool but perhaps with a bit more 'ease' in the cut.
More DJ ideas:
Sequins by Sir Tom Baker.
Velvet number by Timothy Everest.
Another Velvet number and why not? This time Hitchcock, not sure which one.

God Rick, who ate all the pies! Those shoes are shit with that outfit too. He's underachieving here I think.
That was out of order, too much gin with a client beforehand. Not keen on those shoes with that suit though. To bring a bit of balance I will say Richard has the best establishment on the row in my opinion.

Is it just me or would those trousers look a bit better with a slightly a narrower leg and cuff opening - without altering the whole look too much?

Don't like the guy on the right's jacket at all. Shoulders are too boxy and it's straining horribly at the waist button - the seams need to be let out by a couple of inches.
l am glad l aren't a client of that tailoring house. Then again, l probably wouldn't be paying near the frightening prices either.

Who is he?
George Lucas isn't it?

...Well, he looks a lot better than the juvenile crap he pumps out.
Lucas retroactively ruined my childhood with the abomination known as Jar Jar Binks, and worse still he ruined my children's childhood by defiling the only perfect movie trilogy ever made.

I rather suspect Peter Jackson would have something to say about that!

I posted that photo because I was stunned to see him in a suit, and three-piece at that! Normally he's a jeans and logging shirt sort of man.

We have another Jackson film coming soon, this time a rework of the sacred "The Hobbit" story, so he might pull ahead of Lucas in the raping-my-childhood sweepstakes. Senor Spielgergo changed E.T. as well, but thankfully no one remembers that movie and he's left the Raider's series alone.

I could never get into Tolkein's books as a child, an oh how I tried, but it wasn't there.
I've watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy and whilst I appreciate the talent and sweep that went into making them, fantasy just leaves me cold. I mean, look around at the world, who needs fantasy anyway...!!!!
Formby, I'm going out on a limb here.
I agree with you on the "fantasy" literary scene, especially when garbed "medieval" (including a mix and mash of styles and attitudes from the 8th to the 14th centuries in a single storyline). It all smacks of "Ye Olde Rennaissance Faire". Ummm... come to think of it, those might be worth visiting if you are ever in the US.
Nevertheless, you may enjoy Game of Thrones (the book). Anyways, this fantasy felt truer than the recently overhyped "historical fiction" Wolf House.

I have a friend (yes I know) who is a fan of the Game of Thrones, but not for the storyline if you know what I mean....:;

shooey - you said you wouldn't post pictures of you and me at the cup!
We should wear our monocles when we go to the John Lobb store. l'm wearin' mine so l can get an extra good view.
Sorry about posting the picture of us both, l forget that you told me not to post it. We could always deny it's us. ![]()
