And... gone. That was fast. Now I won't have to agonize over it.

Hi Zach,
Where did the club collar that's modeled on the jacket form come from, if you don't mind my asking?
It's a Brooks non-iron from a couple of seasons ago.
From your personal collection I take it?
If so, how do you like it?
I've been playing with the idea of their bespoke shirt options for some time, as I'd really like to try out the club collar and snap tab in white/blue/pink pinpoint cotton. Are you happy with the non-iron fabric & did it come in the traditional full-cut off the rack? I assume it's got French cuffs too?
Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback!
Do you think it would fare better had you gone with the 100% cotton pinpoint over the non-iron cloth? I assume the all-cotton pinpoint cloth would be unfused which would make it better suited for pinning...
I used to wear club collars all the time, though I started to feel they were a bit "too fussy" and haven't touched them for several years. I used to have quite a few in various oxford weaves. Judging from what I see on your forms, I like that Brooks' are a bit more boxy looking than the shorter 'Peter Pan' style club collars I've seen from other makers. They seem to fall lower and hug the knot more substantially. I've had shorter club collars that looked a bit too 'dainty'.

That madras sack didn't last long!
I'm glad someone else bought it because I really don't need any more madras jackets... but it sure was tempting me all morning!
Typically that madras was not my size, well, it is in the listing, but i'm never a 16.5 shoulder - this seems to be an issue I find on madras, lots of 38 jackets with girly width shoulders!
I bought the madras sack, just minutes after posting about how I'm not going to buy anything else. The most expensive madras I've ever purchased, but I love the colors. Girly width shoulders? Yes, but they bear the weight of the world... and often times very large, heavy boxes, musical equipment, truck parts, women, sacks of rocks, bodies...
Good on you, man! I love the colors too so I was hoping someone would grab it before I caved in. It's one of the nicer madras sacks I've seen and would look dead cool with a pair of chinos, a thin navy or olive silk knit, and dark shades!
