Soft Italian Tailoring

Ivy or not, for what it's worth, I'd exchange a dozen vintage American jackets for a couple more Loro Piana wool and cashmere.  The words 'Made In Italy' are almost as gladdening as 'Made In The USA'.

The year is the same,1954.
To the left a Brooks Brothers suit,to the right a Rubinacci suit.
Ok,one is undarted the other darted...but..

No,but in these days all in Italy have nostalgia for 50s and 60s.
The future was so bright in that time.

I was just wondering.

It's still there... That old Italian look is the new Italian look, I think.

Although for the (slightly inflexible?) Spectre, this must be horrible, I assume. Especially with that awfully wide knit tie and the spread collar....
