When we've discussed those US made Bean Oxfords before someone said for a period they were coming out the same factory as Brooks Brothers. I can't remember what thread that was on though. I actually prefer my bean oxford to my makers, not sure why exactly but the shirt just feels more every day and lived in with less of a statement collar, but still having a nice roll, it's just an easy bit of kit to wear. I had a great green OCBD by them to but being someone had taken about three inches off the sleeves so it didn't get one much, only under stuff. It was the perfect shade of green though. Would love to find a better fitting replacement

^ I don't know what's better 'lounging' or 'loafing'.
'Lunging' of course is a different thing altogether.
Quick question - do any of you actually use the laces on boat shoes or camp mocs for adjustment?
/\ yes I sometimes pull the laces tighter on my camp mocs ...........
Looking forward to my second fall and winter wearing my resoled Bean boots... The uppers aren't too old, probably 10 years, but they're perfect and I'm so glad Bean will still resole (even if it is a lot more than $2.85 these days)...
