Hi! I'm just a guy who lives in Boston who enjoys going to thrift & charity stores in his spare time. I originally started selling vintage menswear on eBay to earn a little extra money to take my wife out for date nights a couple of times a week. I joined TI after being invited by one of your members after a successful U.S. / U.K. transaction.
I deal mainly in clothing and accessories from the Andover Shop, Brooks Brothers, and J. Press with a focus on "MADE IN U.S.A." In addition to my listings in eBay, I will be periodically listing different items in the TI "For Sale" thread that may be of specific interest to forum members.
Any questions? Comments? Special requests? Don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks! -M-

Nice one Mr Jones, or can I call you Typhoid? I look forward to buying some of your stuff!
You can call me Michael. And I'm looking forward to you buying some of my stuff as well, ha!
Great Shaggy Dog, Michael!
A quick bump for Michael's new Sticky here - It's nice to promote the good guys !
I've had some luck with vintage shirting from BB. I'm in the process of gathering some new stock for the post Christmas week. Thanks for your interest! -M-
Hello. I just came into a couple of J. Press sport coats, more made in U.S.A. BB shirting, and another J. Press Shaggy Dog in a size medium. Will be posting on eBay shortly! -M-
If you are interested in anything that I have listed on eBay and live outside of the U.S. please PM or message me through eBay (preferred) so I can enable international bidders. Thanks! -M-
I received my Brooks end-on-end shirt this morning, a superb investment at a price I can afford. This seller is highly recommended.
Muchas gracias señor Jones, ¡chévere que chévere!

I just found out that 2 of my eBay auctions are currently featured on PUTTHISON.COM's eBay Roundup. Anyone interested in a salmon pink J. Press SHAGGY DOG sweater or a NWOT J. Press glen plaid wedding tie should check them out. Thanks! -M-
Hello. I've got a few more BB shirts and a J. Press heavy brown tweed herringbone sport coat up on eBay. Contact me through eBay to enable international shipping if you're interested. Happy New Year! -M-
A good chap, our Michael. Shirt arrives from him: clean. Shirt arrives from AN Other: stinky.
I think, (raises Talk Ivy flag, and sheds a tear) this forum works well for this very reason, a guy like TJ comes on here, and instead of getting a wait 45 days before posting sales, or, buying bump credits now. We have a community were people can just rock up and sell their wares. And we all benefit. No forum seller rules. Just simple, straight down the line, honest, supply and demand.
I wish the country was run this way.

Received the Harvard Coop shirt today. Absolutely marvelous it is too, thanks.
Thanks all! I hope you get a lot of use out of your shirts! -M-
Hello all.
I was sitting at my desk filling out customs forms and talking to my wife about the high customs charges the UK imposes on imported goods. She is a flight attendant and reminded me that she has the ability to visit London for work and she told me that she would be willing to bring anything that I needed sent to the UK and either arrange for personal pick up in Kensington or arrange for domestic postage within the country. If there is any interest in this alternative shipping option, please PM me or contact me through eBay or Etsy.
Thanks! -M-
P.S. Please note that this shipping option will only be available for items purchased through my eBay listings, Etsy shop, or personal sales. This service will not be extended to third party transactions.
Any possibility of some shipments from Peru / Columbia to Australia?
Good pay
^^^ Lol. Maybe if this vintage clothing thing doesn't work out.
Hello. I've added and will be adding a few new spring and summer things to my new Etsy shop. Brooks Brothers madras, seersucker, and wash 'n' wear.
Thanks! -M-

Hi all! I wanted to give everyone here a sort of pre-listing heads up regarding an item that I will be adding to my Etsy shop later today when I get home from work. I came across a truly vintage 1960's (white block letters on a black tag) Brooks Brothers quarter lined summer weight navy blue blazer with gold toned "Golden Fleece" logo buttons in about a US size 40 (if it was a 36 or 38 it would have found its home in my closet, lol). I had my tailor tighten up the lining and deal with any maintenane issues - it's ready to roll. Also, summer weight sack jackets from Anderson-Little and others and a pile of Makers shirting from 15 1/2 all the way to 17 1/2. Thanks! -M-
Just incase i can't get online later, what colour and style collar is the makers tj? Can i reserve it?
I can recommend Typhoid_Jones, I'm very pleased with the transaction!
