I thought you didn't find Bruce's last sleek enough. Or am I confusing with another last. I find an Adelaide is really the best on a really sleek last.

Also I really think you should try your hand at a handmade shoe. Then you would no longer have to depend on others which can be frustrating at times (i found this out the hard way). In my area no one - absolutely no one hand welts. It's all glue. tried sending stuff out to be made by others but it's a really long process full of pitfalls.

In any regards keep us posted on the progress.

Shooey - i think the complaints about the "chinese made" boot were related to an officers parade boot, glue loosening on hot days, not the average blokes combat boots
