Plain white Fruit of the Loom t - as featured in the window at 2 Russell Street - with dark denim (Bean) and sand desert boots.  Plain as anything.

Re: Ivy League style for today

After many hot days of wearing OCBDs, half-rolled sleeves (saw John Simons do it once, looked just right) I opted to try to go even simpler than that.

White t-shirt (good weight cotton, decent collar)
Navy flat front shorts (heavily worn in, hit above the knee)
Brown topsiders (well worn)

It's a good test of fit, I guess. Too big and long and I'll look like a Dad at a BBQ, too small and it will all look really camp.

The most basic clothes I've thrown on in years, but with a fresh short McQueen-esque haircut and wayfarers, it still worked well in my opinion; the balance, the fit was right for me and it's nice that is so simple.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Was oblivious when I grabbed it this morning but it's strictly old stuff today.

Light and breezy all cotton 1950s Pilgrim loop collar shirt, blue/ off white / brown check.
Ditto 1950s high rise buckle back pants, stone, no break.
And those mystery Clark's "desert bucks", made in England.
