A look I'm beginning to favour on breezier days is: madras half sleeve, topped with a buttoned cardigan. I tuck the shirt into the shorts - Bill's - and wear even the bottom buttoned fastened; unlike Queen Victoria's boy. Then Docksides, weejuns or white bucks. This morning, gold Bruce for Palmer wool and alpaca over Neil Martin madras; very subtle shadings on the shirt. I have never worn my cardigans unfastened or with the bottom button undone.
white canvas tennis shoes, dusty khaki Meyer flat-fronts, white Hanes T, fairly subdued 1960s (?) Diamond Head shirt with a 30s-40s pattern - SS Lurline, outrigger canoes, Hawaiian maidens, grass huts, Diamond Head, plenty foliage, the whole shebang.
Yearning for those simpler times when iGents of yore could don a pair of canvas tennis shoes, kapok slacks and an Aloha shirt ...
I was in maroon Paul Stuart cashmere, with BB plain white OCBD and Bean denim with worn leather belt.
Wine weejuns.
Sockless.
Black Smedley roll neck, corduroy 3 button jacket, old dark Levis, black suede Sanders chukkas. Clubmasters with prescription lenses.
Also wearing a mischievious grin...
Don't worry guv, i'm straight nah. You won't ear a peep arta me!
And as always Mister Panic sir, you have my utmost respect. You are a knight of this forum.
A rather old, Japanese-made, never-iron, 100 per cent cotton 'shadow' plaid half-sleeve. With my trusty Bean jeans.

Vass. Well thought of by my shoe-seller chum.
Looked a bit cool out this morning, so went for heavier outfit, but it's pretty warm now!
Anyway, recently picked up a few items in Gap, all from the 1969 range, which are a great fit and finish.
1969 Freemont sand chino
1969 Chambrey shirt with cat eye buttons
Tretorn T56 in chalk - sockless.
Today, I look like a college boy dropping out circa - well, 1966.
- Outgrown curly crop. Unshaven.
- White Beefy T.
- Some old Corbin lined patch madras pants ripped into shorts, fraying.
- Indian Kolhapuri Chappal hippie slippers.
