That's one thing i've learned on the forums that very few seem capable of learning. l personally don't dislike any of the shoos. Then again, l don't hate many shoos these days...l love them all and appreciate their presence and role they play. Every shoo is special because it is..afterall..a piece of footwear. Footwear is a fasinating thing, even ugly shit is good.

I am not basing my comment on being "pretty" and "refined"... I wear rugged gunboat shoes all the time. But, "Gunboats" should not be confused with a pass for bad taste.
