Wow, that's great news and bad news all wrapped up in one!
Suddenly I'm a bit worried if I'll ever find that grail of mine that somebody snatched right before my eyes a few weeks ago. So as a desperate last try - if anyone here purchased that 60s air force blue BB poplin suit, and is not happy with it for any reason, I'm willing to pay considerably more than the original price or trade it for just about any item(s) that I own.
Naturally, I'm still happy for you Zach, even if it would mean the closing down of Newton Street Vintage.

Hopefully, it will not mean the closing of Newton Street Vintage, that would be a significant loss of a focal/supply point of the good stuff. Of course, Zach's talents, may be more appropriately directed working on the inside at Andover.

Only just saw this, cool news Zach, hope it all goes well!
Yes, good luck Zach - with your knowledge Andover is getting a great addition to it's staff. Hope you can keep Newton St. going as a sidline - I need my fix man!
30+ Fresh Items in the shop today! More shirts, sport coats, suits, lots of madras!

All Brooks all the time.
The Andover Shop is part-time to start, so I should be able to keep the shop going until the well runs dry. There may be a slight delay of an extra day or so to the usual transit times.

What size was that killer yellow-red-blue-green check madras that lasted 5 seconds, haha?
Congrats on the Andover gig btw, they're in good company!
It was a 42L. It is 'killer' too. A really beautiful plaid.
You can browse the sold items of an Etsy shop Oliver. There is a 'sales' section down the left hand side of the shop. I've spent a lot of time looking at all the things Zach's found. It'll be such a shame when that well does run dry.

Congratulations Zach. My October trip to Harvard has an even bigger justification and lunch is still on me. Now if you have a clearance sale 42R jacket with 37-inch or even 36-inch waist trousers. I purchased an Andover Shop shirt on eBay and now have an excuse to go and buy something from the store. Another belt from J Press is the go as well.

I pounced on that and one of the white Brooks OCBD's too. I wasn't quick enough to get the two of the Brooks shirts though, someone was faster than me!
I hope it works out for you Andy. I think that's as nice a madras as I've ever seen.

FYI Etsy is down for maintenance but should be back up soon.
Congrats on your new adventure at The Andover Shop. Wish you all the best, with many successful sales, and of course -- happy clients.

Would you consider listing the jackets grouped by size?
That 50s no. 1 suit is beautiful.
A dozen fresh suits and sport coats in the shop today! More Brooks, more poplin suits, and a rare example of mid-century French bespoke (Minet style?).

Over a dozen fresh items. Filling in the neglected shoe and tie stock. Some great repps, some bows, a couple of pairs of handsewn USA-made beef rolls, and a pair of black shell cordovan Florsheim v-cleat longwings!

Orange madras is all mine baby! ![]()
Wonder if I could/should slim those lapels a good inch at the tailor since it's a 2-button... hmm?
I wish those tab collars were half a size smaller!
The Hawaiian popover is nuts! And that blue plaid Wash n Wear is killer too.
