Looking For A Duffle Coat

Hi guys,

I wanted to check with those of you in Europe about getting a hold a duffle coat for myself for the coming Winter. I typically where a 40R or 40S.

If you come across one just send me a PM.

Thanks guys!

Always interested in BB Makers shirts: 15.5/33, NOS unworn burgundy Beefrolls (like Florsheim Imperials): US 9- 9.5 (Weejuns are best in 9.5); apart from that: odd sack jackets or BB #1 suits: 38R, 39/40S.

I like Gloverall. I buy vintage as I think that the modern prices are a bit insane.

I have an old Gloverall myself, but as you said, prices are insane nowadays. That's why I suggested the "Original Montgomery" - this manufacturer produces Duffle Coats - unlike Gloverall - from the beginning on (they supplied the British Army)... They have reasonable prices and quality seems very good, too. If I hadn't my old Gloverall and a Barbour Duffle as addition, I would go for the navy one with rope toggles - just like our "weejun" smile:

What size are you?  I see secondhand Gloverall's from time to time up here in Boston.  Some better than others condition-wise, but they're not unheard of.
