Re: Aloha shirts

How does the sizing work on these Aloha shirts, would a Large equate to a 16/41 neck size?

And is one's appreciation of the voodoo music of Les Baxter and Martin Denny enhanced when sporting a Aloha shirt whilst sipping a rumbullion cocktail?

Is a shirt with WWII bomber motiffs suitable attire for my European vacation?

Thanks!

Re: Aloha shirts

I never did make it to Present last year when they had their batch of Spooners here... really wanted to test the water sizewise so could plunder on ebay...

I find Beyond Retro/Rokit excellent on the Aloha side mind....some rich pickings and some in great nick...all luck on the size front of course...

Re: Aloha shirts

If anyone can point me in the direction of Sun Surf's 'Pinapple Chain Border' style SS36828 in green, size 15-15.5 (medium??) that'd be much appreciated.

Re: Aloha shirts

I usually wear 'em with a pair of shorts wink

That's actually not true... I usually go for an aloha shirt with some broken-in khakis and blue Keds-type sneakers... a great look with untucked madras as well, a la Curt from American Graffiti...
