Hopsack as a fabric

Would any one suggest the hopsack fabric weights that are currently being offered in swatch books.

I miss the old hopsack material used often for the Brooks Makers blazer (3-2 button, besom chest pocket, and patch and flap pockets lower).
Brooks stopped carrying it a while ago.  I don't recall the weight.  Does anyone?

I might go MTM as I'm gonna need a new blazer one of these days.  My 120's that I bought years ago -- from an English compamy for an absurd amount of money is getting old.  WHich isn't a bad thing, but it's a bit beat up for my tastes.

I'll post some pics when I can.

Hopsack seems a little too heavy in this age. They must be making blazers out of lighter weight materials. I know that isn't Trad but I don't care, I'm a softy.
