American made and I just picked-up a pair of chinos in an online sale of a Dutch shop for €67, anyone experience of their chinos?
Looks a possible good source of work wear inspired basics in subdued hues.
Did you go for their 'field pants' ?
They've been on my radar for a while but couldn't find a UK stockist.
very interested in the fit.
A brick coloured pair, definitely not the field pants and bordering on jeans, but if the fit and everything else is right, I will extend my custom further.
The fit is similar to that of J Crew urban fit chinos, only a little tighter around the waist and seat area, whereas they have less taper along the lower leg, the leg opening being slightly bigger than the J Crew ones by 1 cm or so. Personally I prefer the J Crew ones.
Sounds like Hepcat's ass will be hanging out and his nuts will be bisected. At least that's what I felt like was happening to me when I tried some of those Crew "urban" fits a few years ago. A lot can change in that time though. Perhaps the fit is better.
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.....
They've now been sent by courier and by Tuesday, the truth will be out!
I might add: I am 42, quite sane, despite all the madness, but WM is quite correct; there's no way my balls will withstand the crushing fetishism of a modern urban fit in a suburban setting. I am bracing myself for the worse with copious amounts of Remy Martin XO Excellence. I should be ready to take delivery by opening of business CET on Tuesday!
I woke up this morning hoping the negative impressions of Save Khaki was a bad dream and then I opened this topic!
We'll see, we'll see come Tuesday....
Haha, well, the ones I've got are from a couple of seasons ago, maybe the fit is different now. Good luck.
Terrible fit, almost made my butt and thighs look curvaceous with child bearing hips. What kind of American apparal manufacturer is this?
As my kids like to tell me, "You know what it means.....glasses breaking and in the bin!"
They will be returned with extreme prejudice post haste!
Can't we at least get a pic of that?
Sorry to hear. I feared the worst.
It's already with the courier, a narrow escape, phew!
